Living a healthy lifestyle and exercising does not mean you have to be limited to working out in a gym. Many of my clients chose to have me come to their home to teach them a workout they can do in the comfort of their own space and without paying a gym fee. I can also do virtual sessions on zoom if you live outside of the local area. If you prefer to use a local gym to do weight training, I can meet with you at the gym and custom design a program to help you meet your fitness goals.

Whether you are wanting to lose weight, build strength, improve balance, increase flexibility, or change unhealthy eating behaviors, I am highly qualified to assess your current health, custom design a program, and teach you to make the changes needed to improve your health.  I will help you set attainable goals, keep you motivated with new workout plans, teach you to make healthy food choices and hold you accountable. It is my goal to help you build confidence in your abilities and to maintain a long-term healthy lifestyle.   

GROUP TRAINING

There are many benefits to exercising with a group and it can be a great way to build positive social relationships thru fitness activities and teamwork. Small group training can be a way to save money by splitting the cost of training and lowering each persons rate. When training in a group, it can often increase motivation of each individual by supporting each other and working as a team. Groups can consist of friends, co-workers, or familys.  Couple training is also a great way to enhance a relationship or friendship and work together at a common goal.

BALANCE AND MOBILITY

Seniors who exercise can enjoy an active lifestyle and function better in their daily routine.  Healthy Steps offers resistance training to strengthen muscles, balance and mobility exercises to help prevent falls, walking with assistance to improve walking skills, and stretching to improve flexibility. Besides all the normal health benefits of exercise, a health coach is a companion who is there on a regular basis for social support.
